Ben Schneider | Salesforce Consultant

What is your favorite thing about Salesforce?

I love that Salesforce is so robust. There are so many features that enable users to increase their efficiency and productivity. I also love that Salesforce is extremely collaborative. Due to its robust nature, it would take years and years to learn and become proficient in every aspect of Salesforce. Thankfully, as consultants, we’re surrounded by others with varying levels and fields of expertise. In order to provide solutions quickly, it is best to draw upon and provide that support often.

What client project have you worked on that you are most proud of?

Being an intern, I have not worked very much on client projects, but I am very proud of the internal project that Mark Vogt and I worked together on for the SOLVD org. We treated it as if it were a client project to help prepare us for when we are doing more client work. Per Spencer’s request, we created a dynamic dashboard for managers to use. It stretched us, and helped us learn quite a bit about reports and dashboards. We’re hopeful that it will be useful for the SOLVD leadership team.

What has your experience been with our company culture?

The company culture here is great. I really appreciate that my physical and mental health are considered and taken care of. I also am grateful for caring leaders and supportive team members.

What is your team like?

I really like my team. There is a mix of new hires and more seasoned SOLVD employees, and that mix provides all of us with opportunities to learn from each other and see things from different perspectives. I also feel like I’m friends with each of my team members, which is something that’s pretty important to me.

What are some things you’ve noticed about our leadership team?

One of my first company meetings was spent receiving feedback from every single employee, including myself (even though I had only been at the company for a week), concerning why we had failed to reach our goals. The leadership team listened to each and every one of the employees, and then subsequently made changes to policies and practices to reflect the feedback received. I really appreciate that the leadership is open to feedback and we are able to see our feedback implemented.

What have been your biggest accomplishments on our team?

One of the things I am most proud of is getting my Salesforce Administrator Certification within about 6 weeks of being hired. I also am proud to be able to help with the training content for SOLVD’s LinkedIn and YouTube channel.

Who are some of your biggest inspirations within the company?

One of my biggest inspirations is our fearless leader, Spencer. I remember one meeting in particular where he explained his strategy to quickly getting certifications, and I was very impressed by his creativity and work ethic. It will be hard to try to measure up, but I am glad I have a good leader like him to follow. I also am inspired by Josh Davies. He is a very talented learner and contributes so much to the success of SOLVD. He has been very friendly to me in the short time I’ve been here, and I’m grateful to have him as a teammate.

What kinds of resources have you taken advantage of while on our team?

I definitely have taken advantage of the tech package that SOLVD offers. I’m very grateful for the Macbook and the monitor. They help me be a lot more productive.

Which benefits are your favorite and why?

I really enjoy the team lunches. I appreciate being able to interact with my team members trying somewhere new for lunch every week! I also am a big fan of the massages.

What’s the most unique part about working here?

Aside from the in-home massage benefit, I really appreciate that my contribution is noticeable and appreciated. I can actually impact our team success, so I feel that I have meaningful contributions.

How have you grown professionally while on our team?

I have learned so much more about project management in the short time I’ve been here at SOLVD. I’ve also been enabled to increase my technical skills and get paid and reimbursed for the time I spend studying and taking tests.

Testimonials

Our clients say

From my initial call with Spencer through project implementation with John and Evan, my experience with the SOLVD team was excellent. They were quick to understand our business needs, clear when explaining the reasoning behind proposed solutions, transparent when reporting on progress and timeline, and all around enjoyable to work with. Would highly recommend and looking forward to continue working with them in the future!

Veronica Wong Director of Operations at Pathstream

SOLVD was very straight forward with everything needed to complete the project. No surprises, no issues, and cost was aligned with the estimate. They made implementation easy and quick.

Matt Benzaquen Sr Manager, Sales Strategy at Instabug

As a rule, I'm pretty stingy with my recommendations. So it's a pleasure for me to recommend Solvd as a top-flight Salesforce consultancy. Solvd recently led our company's conversion to the Lightning interface and did it on time, on budget and made it easy for me and my team. I know I'll use their services again, and am confident they can do the same for you.
