How Does Agentforce Pricing Work?

Agentforce charges $2 per conversation. But what exactly counts as a conversation?

A conversation starts when a customer interacts with Agentforce—like opening a chatbot on your website. Every interaction within a 24-hour period is included in that one conversation. That means no matter how many times the customer talks to the bot within that time, it still counts as just one conversation.

Special Discounts and Free Credits

If your company handles a high volume of conversations, you might qualify for discounted rates. To explore this, you should talk to your Account Executive (AE).

Also, if you use Salesforce Foundations, you get 1,000 free conversations plus 250,000 Data Cloud credits. This allows businesses to test Agentforce before making a full commitment.

What About AI and Additional Charges?

Each conversation includes 200 Einstein requests. These requests work like tokens—used when AI processes responses. If you use fewer than 200, the extra requests carry over for future use. If you go over 200, it pulls from that pool.

Some AI-powered tasks, like email-based AI sales reps (SDRs), also count as conversations. For example, once the AI SDR sends an email, that starts a conversation. If the lead replies within 24 hours, it remains one conversation. If the interaction continues past 24 hours, a new conversation starts.
