What is your favorite thing about Salesforce?

I really like how Salesforce has managed to identify and alleviate pain points in so many different areas of business processes. They offer such a wide variety of products and services that help address the needs of businesses in practically every type of industry.

What client project have you worked on that you are most proud of?

The project that I am most proud of is Corby Pools. We dedicated a lot of time to this project to clearly define the client’s processes and areas that could be improved using Salesforce. Using Salesforce FSL, we have managed to tailor a powerful solution to meet their needs. As a result, their day-to-day processes have been streamlined and the client has been very vocal about the positive impact we have had on their business and processes. It has been a great experience to see how our analysis and design of a solution has provided them with so much value.

What has your experience been with our company culture?

I have really enjoyed getting to know members of the team. Everyone is down to earth and willing to lend a hand when needed. Whether it’s when you have a question, you are feeling light on work, or simply need some mentorship, there is always someone you can turn to. I have also felt that company goals are meaningful, yet do not create a cutthroat atmosphere. Instead, they help align everyone’s efforts in accomplishing a common goal.

What is your team like?

My team was formed pretty recently, but so far I have really enjoyed working with them! Everyone does a good job of making sure we are staying on top of our commitments and sharing things that they have learned so that others can grow and progress too.

What are some things you’ve noticed about our leadership team?

I have noticed that the leadership team is always looking for ways to enhance our experience at SOLVD. This includes things like the tech package and other great benefits. Also, I feel that the leadership does a good job of focusing team members on company goals without being overbearing.

What have been your biggest accomplishments on our team?

I feel that one of my greatest accomplishments on the team has been the trajectory of my billable work. When I first started in this role, I knew next to nothing about Salesforce. Within a matter of months, I have learned a ton about Salesforce and am actively contributing to the company’s billable revenue goals.

Who are some of your biggest inspirations within the company?

Matt Brown was my team lead for my first few months and I was amazed by how much he knows about Salesforce. I admired his ability to hear a customer’s issue and quickly know how to handle it in Salesforce. Also, John is absolutely brilliant and has a great knack for explaining difficult concepts in a clear, concise manner. There are tons of other great people I look up to at the company, but these are just a few of the ones I’ve worked the closest with.

What kinds of resources have you taken advantage of while on our team?

The most obvious resource that I have used while on the team is my fellow coworkers. Between all of the members of the team, there is a lot of experience and knowledge that I have access to.

Which benefits are your favorite and why?

I really enjoy the quarterly events because it is a rare chance for everyone at the company to be together at the same time. Plus they are usually a ton of fun. I also really appreciate the certification reimbursement and weekly team lunches.

What’s the most unique part about working here?

The most unique thing that I can think of is a TRUE sense of ownership very, very early on as an employee. New hires are quickly onboarded and then given real work. Doing so forces the new employee to learn and grow quickly, but also gives them a sense of satisfaction knowing that they are actively contributing to company and team objectives.

How have you grown professionally while on our team?

  1. I would say I have grown a lot in each of the three skill “pillars” that are emphasized here at SOLVD: Sales, Technical, and Project Management. Coming into this role, I did not have any experience with sales. I now feel more confident in my ability to upsell someone that I am working with. In terms of technical skills, I have learned A TON about the inner workings of a Salesforce org. My favorite technical skill I’ve developed is working in flows to automate common tasks. In terms of project management, I have been able to identify a few of the best practices of my colleagues and use them on my own projects. While most project management practices can seem pretty simple or cumbersome, it’s really evident that clients appreciate them.

Our clients say

From my initial call with Spencer through project implementation with John and Evan, my experience with the SOLVD team was excellent. They were quick to understand our business needs, clear when explaining the reasoning behind proposed solutions, transparent when reporting on progress and timeline, and all around enjoyable to work with. Would highly recommend and looking forward to continue working with them in the future!

Veronica Wong Director of Operations at Pathstream

SOLVD was very straight forward with everything needed to complete the project. No surprises, no issues, and cost was aligned with the estimate. They made implementation easy and quick.

As a rule, I'm pretty stingy with my recommendations. So it's a pleasure for me to recommend Solvd as a top-flight Salesforce consultancy. Solvd recently led our company's conversion to the Lightning interface and did it on time, on budget and made it easy for me and my team. I know I'll use their services again, and am confident they can do the same for you.
