JOHN TURNER | PRACTICE DIRECTOR + CTO
What is your favorite thing about Salesforce?
My favorite thing is the flexibility of the platform, and the ability to customize it to thoroughly tailor it entirely to your needs. I love building custom UI components to extend the platform past its normal capabilities.
What client project have you worked on that you are most proud of?
Two come to mind: Zingtree and Cribl. Both of them started out as smaller engagements for single departments using different products, but as they saw the value in working with SOLVD, more of their employees engaged us till we were working with various departments and on various products.
What has your experience been with our company culture?
I've really appreciated the high-performing and high-responsibility nature of SOLVD. I love owning man projects and being enabled to produce high-quality outcomes
What are some things you’ve noticed about our leadership team?
They are all very responsible and very driven toward the success of the company.
What have been your biggest accomplishments on our team?
Being able to coach and mentor the great consultants at SOLVD.
Who are some of your biggest inspirations within the company?
Every single person at the company is an inspiration to me. Anytime that I meet with a different SOLVD teammate, I'm impressed and come away having learned something.
Which benefits are your favorite and why?
Massage benefit, for sure. I got my first massage when I was a teenager and have loved them ever since. I looked forward to the day when I decided that I could invest in regular massages. Luckily for me, SOLVD beat me to the punch.
What’s the most unique part about working here?
The autonomy that we're each given to drive projects to success, the opportunity for upward momentum, and the level of ownership we can take over our own success.
How have you grown professionally while on our team?
Prior to joining SOLVD, I had never interfaced directly with clients at this scale, nor had I ever had any level of Sales experience. Since joining I've had the opportunity to develop myself as someone that feels comfortable leading meetings regardless of the clients involved, as well as hop on sales calls and speak comfortably. I'm very grateful for that.
