What are the hardware and software requirements for implementing Agentforce

Thinking about using AgentForce? The good news is you don’t need special equipment. If your computer can run Salesforce, it can run AgentForce too. Here’s what you need to know.

What Hardware Do You Need?

AgentForce runs in the Salesforce cloud, so there are no strict hardware needs. However, for best results, we suggest:

  • A modern computer (with a 64-bit processor or Apple’s M-series chip).
  • At least 8GB of RAM to keep things running smoothly.
  • Extra storage or a server if you store a lot of data.

What About Software?

The software needs for AgentForce are simple:

  • You need a Salesforce license (Enterprise Edition or higher is best).
  • Service Cloud or Sales Cloud works best with AgentForce.
  • No extra software is needed beyond what Salesforce provides.

Can You Use External Data?

AgentForce works right away with Salesforce data. If you want to use outside data, you have two choices:

  • Use Salesforce Data Cloud to connect other sources.
  • Store your own data on separate servers.
