What are the best practices for refreshing decision tables in Revenue Cloud?

Keeping decision tables updated in Salesforce Revenue Cloud is important. If they are not refreshed, old information might cause mistakes. Here is a simple way to update them and keep your business running smoothly.

Steps to Update Decision Tables

  1. Open Salesforce SetupGo to Setup and search for Decision Tables.
  2. Click on Decision Tables under Feature Settings.
  3. Find the Table You Need to UpdateLook through the list of decision tables.
  4. Click the one that needs to be updated.
  5. Press the Refresh ButtonClick Refresh in the top-right corner.
  6. A message will show saying the update will take a few minutes.
  7. After it's done, the Last Refresh Date will change.
  8. Make Sure the Table is ActiveIf the table is not active, turn it on first.
  9. Only active tables can be refreshed.
  10. Know the Refresh LimitsSalesforce allows 20 updates per hour.
  11. If you have many updates, do them slowly to avoid hitting the limit.

How to Refresh Tables Automatically

If you use Flows, you can automate table updates. This saves time and effort.

  1. Use the "Refresh Decision Table" Option
    You can set up automatic updates instead of doing them manually.
  2. Create a Simple Flow
    A Flow can show which tables are active.
  3. It can also display the last update time so you know if it needs a refresh.
  4. Schedule Updates Automatically
    Instead of checking every time, schedule updates.
  5. This keeps tables accurate and up to date all the time.
