The managed-services trap

A cheaper hourly rate does not help when every ticket starts from zero.

What replaces the ticket queue

A consistent team runs the system and moves the roadmap.

Subscription support keeps one accountable team close to the business, then adds specialist depth and governed agents as the priorities change.

  • Generalist consultants form the core team that learns the business, owns the backlog, and stays close to the people making decisions.
  • Specialists join when architecture, integrations, data, Agentforce, or complex AI work requires deeper expertise.
  • Agents accelerate analysis, documentation, testing, QA, and build work under expert review.
  • Direct Slack access and a living knowledge base keep the people doing the work connected to the context.

“SOLVD has been an outstanding long-term partner across a multiyear engagement spanning projects of every complexity level.”

How the subscription works

Know where the work stands and what comes next.

You can see what we’re working on and what’s next. Weekly updates flag progress and decisions we need from you. Each month, we review the business results together and agree on where to focus.

  1. Prioritize the work

A visible backlog with priorities, owners, and upcoming milestones.

Choose the next work against business value, risk, and purchased capacity.

  2. Deliver and validate

Demonstrations, tested improvements, and client acceptance for the work completed.

Know what changed and what is ready to use.

  3. Stay informed weekly

A written update covering progress, risks, and decisions needed from your team.

Resolve blockers without reconstructing the project history.

  4. Review business results monthly

A review of progress toward your business goals and what to tackle next. Project documents and key decisions stay up to date.

Decide what to improve, continue, or change next.

The monthly business-value review replaces that week’s regular meeting. Deliverables follow the agreed scope and capacity; a new architecture study, migration, or AI implementation is not an automatic monthly inclusion.

Questions people actually ask

What is Expertise as a Service?

Expertise as a Service is our subscription delivery model. Each generalist or specialist subscription unit contributes delivery bandwidth from a mix of consultants and agents working toward your agreed outcomes. A consistent core team retains your business context and keeps delivery accountable.

How is this different from traditional Salesforce managed services?

Traditional managed services often replace the project team with a shared pool, tickets, SLAs, and variable invoices. EaaSe keeps a core team on the business, gives you direct access in Slack, uses agents to accelerate delivery, and works against a predictable monthly fee.

Compare the embedded-team model
Is the monthly support bill fixed?

Yes. The subscription establishes a predictable monthly fee and an available delivery capacity. We prioritize the backlog against that capacity, make trade-offs visible, and discuss any additional project before it changes the commercial commitment.

How do project discounts work for support customers?

Long-term support customers receive our best project pricing. We honor the preferred rate for additional projects added while the support contract is active, so our most committed customers continue to receive our best value across the roadmap.

Does this supplement an internal team or replace hiring?

Both models work. Many of our largest customers have internal Salesforce teams that use SOLVD for parallel capacity, specialist depth, and AI fluency. Other customers use the subscription as their Salesforce and AI team rather than recruiting and retaining every capability themselves.

How do you take over from our current provider?

Onboarding starts with the org, active work, current risks, business priorities, and the people who know how the system is used. We rebuild the context into a shared knowledge base and move a real priority while that understanding develops.
