What needs to be true for your first agent workflow to succeed?

Think of one Salesforce-connected workflow: handling a service request, preparing a renewal, or approving a quote. Answer for what exists today, not what you plan to build. “Not sure” is useful—it tells you what to verify.

What we assess
  • Business valueChoose a workflow worth changing and a result you can measure.
  • People and ownershipGive decisions, adoption, and ongoing operation named owners.
  • Data trustworthinessGive agents reliable records and a clear source of truth.
  • Access and boundariesEnforce what agents may read, change, and send outside your systems.
  • Workflow documentationMake the process, exceptions, and definition of done explicit.
  • Safe retriesPrevent retries and partial failures from creating duplicate or missing work.
  • Testing and operationTest outcomes, route human decisions, and know when to stop the agent.
How the assessment works

Each of the 16 questions earns 0–3 points. The score is the share of the possible 48 points, rounded to 100. “Not sure” earns no points and is counted separately. Dimension scores use only the questions in that area. Critical safeguards override the average when an answer is unknown or below level 2.

Our rubric is informed by practical delivery requirements and published guidance on evaluating agent outcomes, limiting agent authority, and testing Agentforce. The score and thresholds are ours; these organizations do not certify or endorse the result.

Questions people actually ask

What does the readiness score measure?

Seven areas for one Salesforce-connected workflow: business value, people and ownership, trusted data, access and boundaries, workflow documentation, safe retries, and testing and operation. You receive a self-reported starting point, priority gaps, and evidence to bring to discovery. It is not a technical audit or deployment approval.

Is it really free, and do you keep my answers?

Free, and nothing is gated. The assessment runs in your browser and we do not collect your answers unless you choose to send them to us afterwards.

What is a good score?

A high average cannot cancel a safeguard gap. A pilot-candidate result requires at least 78/100 and every answer at level 2 or 3, with no unknowns. Even then, the controls and remaining gaps need verification before production access. This is our planning rubric, not an industry benchmark or a prediction of ROI.

What if I do not know the technical answers?

Choose “Not sure.” Unknowns earn no points, but are reported separately from known problems. Share the result with your Salesforce owner, security lead, or delivery partner to establish the facts. You can review and change any answer before sharing.

Does this work if I already have an internal team?

Yes. Ownership and enablement can sit with your internal team, a delivery partner, or both. The assessment identifies work to scope; it does not assume you need to replace your team, buy a particular model, or automate every step.
