Headless 360 implementation for Salesforce-run companies

Less time in the CRM. More time spent on your customers.

Salesforce made the browser optional. We implement the workflows where agents update your records, clean your data, and run your reporting, governed at the schema level and reviewed by people who have done this before.

Salesforce holds the record, Slack is where people already are, and a frontier model does the reasoning. Agents run across all three. Everything orbiting it is what your business is already paying for.
What this means

Salesforce Headless 360 exposes Salesforce data, workflows, and business logic as APIs, MCP tools, and CLI commands, so AI agents and humans can work from any surface, including Slack, Teams, and custom apps, without opening the Salesforce UI. Implementing it well requires data readiness, schema-level governance, and agent oversight.

What happens today

A person retypes the call

  1. A rep finishes a forty-minute customer call.
  2. Updates nine fields from memory, two days later.
  3. Twelve minutes of typing, and the close date is a guess.
  4. The next stage never gets set, because nobody enforces it.

Your pipeline reflects what someone remembered, not what happened.

What a rushed agent does

An agent with raw API access

  1. Reads the transcript and writes straight to the API.
  2. Skips the validation the screen used to enforce, because no screen ran.
  3. Sets a stage that does not exist in your sales process.
  4. Times out, retries, and duplicates the activity. Nobody can reconstruct why.

Faster, wrong, unauditable. The failure most orgs are about to buy.

How we build it

A governed agent, with a person on the judgment

  1. Proposes the update through the Headless 360 MCP Server as the rep’s own user.
  2. Object-level validation, field-level security, and sharing rules all still apply.
  3. Judgment calls, like moving a close date, become an approval card in Slack.
  4. Retries are safe, so the same action cannot create duplicate work. Session tracing records what it did and why.

The pipeline matches reality, the rep approves in fifteen seconds, and there is an audit trail.

The migration problem

Modernize without breaking the business that still runs today.

Keep the business running

Support the Salesforce estate you have

Sales, service, quoting, billing, marketing, portals, and integrations cannot pause while the company prepares for agents.

Prepare the trust layer

Fix what every agent will inherit

Clean the data, clarify permissions and business rules, document the workflow, and decide where a person retains judgment and oversight.

Move valuable work first

Deploy a governed headless workflow

Start where removing browser work creates clear value, then expand after the workflow is reliable, adopted, and producing a measurable return.

What predicts ROI

Salesforce’s August 2026 study of 2,025 agentic AI decision-makers found that launching first did not produce faster ROI. Clean, accessible data, narrowly defined agent scope, and human escalation paths were the strongest predictors of success.

“We recently did two projects with them - an org migration and building a custom agentforce agent.”

The hidden risk

Agents bypass the screens that used to keep bad data out.

Page layouts and screen flows guide people through Salesforce. Agents never see them. Before an agent can write safely, the rules have to move into the data model and automation layer.

Routine changes move automatically. High-judgment changes pause with the context a person needs to decide.

The plan

Start where removing CRM work creates visible value.

Choose one repeatable workflow with a clear owner, measurable return, and a safe human escalation. Prove it in production, then expand.

01CRM records

Keep the CRM current

Agents capture calls, emails, and meetings, then write approved updates.

02Customer data

Keep customer data clean

Governed routines correct duplicates, missing fields, and stale records.

03Reporting

Run reporting before someone asks

Pipeline, renewal, and service signals arrive with the source records attached.

04Work surfaces

Complete work where people already are

Quotes, approvals, and case updates move through Claude, ChatGPT, Slack, Teams, or a custom app while Salesforce remains the record.

A working workflow needs a clear operating handover.

Here’s what we document for the work in your plan. These examples show what each document covers, not results from a client engagement.

How your AI workflow runsKnow what the workflow can do, where a person decides, and who keeps it running.
What the AI can do

Who keeps it running
Who checks the workflow, what they watch for, and who responds when something goes wrong.

Before an AI workflow goes live, we document what it can do and who is responsible for it. Tools and data access follow your agreed policies and restrictions.

How we operate

We practice what we preach.

SOLVD.cloud runs headless today. Our content, delivery context, project signals, and agent actions already move across the browser, APIs, MCP tools, Slack, and controlled agent workflows. That operating experience helps us separate useful automation from architecture that only looks impressive.

01

One source, many interfaces

One content core serves the browser, Markdown, JSON, and MCP tools.

Client advantage

Reuse the capability

One trusted capability can reach Claude, Slack, custom apps, and the browser without duplicating rules.

02

Context survives handoffs

SOLVR maintains structured project context, works through approved tools, and leaves a record for expert review.

Client advantage

Preserve the history

Requirements, decisions, and system history remain available as new experts and agents join the work.

03

Stalled work surfaces itself

Staleness rules and escalation paths surface work that has stopped moving and decisions that need an owner.

Client advantage

Escalate the right work

Routine work runs automatically while leaders see the decisions that actually require them.

04

Human judgment stays accountable

Agents move approved work while sensitive changes and production releases remain under human review.

Client advantage

Move faster without losing control

Execution gets faster without handing business judgment or accountability to a model.

Questions people actually ask

What is Salesforce Headless 360?

Headless 360 exposes Salesforce data, workflows, business logic, and permissions as APIs, MCP tools, and CLI commands, so humans and AI agents can work against Salesforce from any surface without using the browser UI. It was announced at TDX in April 2026 and expanded in August 2026.

Is Headless 360 the same as Agentforce?

No. Agentforce is where you build, deploy, and govern agents. Headless 360 is what makes the whole platform reachable by those agents and by anything else, including your own applications and third-party AI tools. They are designed to work together.

What is the Headless 360 MCP Server?

A metadata-aware MCP server that gives an agent four tools: Discover, Describe, Dispatch, and a read-only Dispatch. The agent searches for available Salesforce operations and invokes them as the authenticated user, so permissions, field-level security, and sharing rules are enforced. It is in open beta as of August 2026.

Do users still need to log into Salesforce?

Not for the work agents can carry. People still use the UI for judgment-heavy and exploratory work. The goal is not to remove Salesforce, it is to stop paying people to retype into it.

Is headless only for developers?

The architecture is technical. The outcome is not. Headless is how your reps stop doing data entry and your leadership gets reporting without a reporting project. We handle the architecture and your team gets the hours back.

We are not ready for agents writing to production. Now what?

That is the right instinct, and most orgs are not ready. Readiness work means governance at the schema level, agents tested and scored before launch, human approval on judgment calls, and full session tracing afterward. It makes ready a project instead of a leap of faith.

How do I connect Claude or ChatGPT to Salesforce safely?

Through MCP, using a narrowly scoped connected app, each person’s existing permissions, safeguards that keep retries from creating duplicate work, and a trace of every session. Salesforce in Claude is the new packaged option for select pilot customers. A custom Headless 360 connection remains useful when the workflow, model, or work surface needs to differ.

What is Claudeforce, and how does it relate to Headless 360?

Claudeforce is the Salesforce and Anthropic partnership. Its first product is Salesforce in Claude, a plugin with 37 prebuilt sales skills. Headless 360 is the architecture underneath that lets Claude reach Salesforce capabilities over MCP while Salesforce continues to enforce permissions and business rules.

Read the Claudeforce field note
Is Salesforce in Claude generally available?

As of September 5, 2026, Salesforce lists Salesforce in Claude for select pilot customers, with open beta planned for September 2026—not general availability. Additional prebuilt skills are planned from late 2026. Availability depends on region, customer agreements, and product eligibility.

What has Salesforce announced ahead of Dreamforce 2026?

Salesforce has expanded Headless 360 across every major cloud, released more than 100 reusable Agent Skills, made the Data 360 MCP Server and Slackbot MCP Client generally available, and put the Headless 360 MCP Server and Headless Experience Layer into open beta. Claudeforce adds Salesforce in Claude with 37 sales skills for select pilot customers and a planned September 2026 open beta. Dreamforce itself is scheduled for September 15–17, 2026, so announced availability can still change.

Read the Claudeforce field note
Do our existing Salesforce clouds have to be replaced before we go headless?

No. Current Salesforce products and customizations can continue running while selected capabilities are exposed to agents through Headless 360. The work is to decide what should remain in its current interface, what should become available through a new surface, and what no longer creates enough value to keep.
